The objective of a Backgammon game is to move your pieces around the Backgammon board and bear those pieces off the board faster than your competitor who works harder to attempt the same buthowever they move in the opposite direction. Succeeding in a round in Backgammon requires both strategy and fortune. How far you can move your chips is up to the numbers from tossing the dice, and the way you shift your checkers are determined by your overall playing strategies. Enthusiasts use different techniques in the different parts of a match dependent on your positions and opponent’s.
The Running Game Plan
The aim of the Running Game plan is to bring all your pieces into your inside board and bear them off as fast as you can. This technique concentrates on the speed of shifting your checkers with little or no efforts to hit or barricade your opponent’s chips. The best time to use this plan is when you think you might be able to shift your own checkers faster than your opponent does: when 1) you have less pieces on the board; 2) all your chips have moved beyond your competitor’s pieces; or 3) your opponent doesn’t employ the hitting or blocking technique.
The Blocking Game Strategy
The primary aim of the blocking plan, by the title, is to block your competitor’s checkers, temporarily, while not fretting about shifting your checkers rapidly. As soon as you have created the blockage for the competitor’s movement with a few chips, you can shift your other checkers rapidly from the board. You should also have a clear plan when to extract and shift the checkers that you utilized for blocking. The game becomes intriguing when your opponent uses the same blocking strategy.
