The Running Game Plan
The goal of the Running Game plan is to entice all your pieces into your inner board and pull them off as quickly as you can. This plan concentrates on the pace of moving your pieces with absolutely no time spent to hit or barricade your competitor’s pieces. The best scenario to employ this plan is when you believe you might be able to move your own pieces faster than the opposing player does: when 1) you have a fewer chips on the board; 2) all your chips have moved beyond your competitor’s chips; or 3) your opposing player doesn’t use the hitting or blocking tactic.
The Blocking Game Technique
The main aim of the blocking plan, by the name, is to stop the opponent’s pieces, temporarily, not worrying about shifting your pieces quickly. Once you have created the blockade for the competitor’s movement with a couple of pieces, you can shift your other chips quickly from the game board. The player really should also have an apparent plan when to withdraw and shift the checkers that you employed for the blockade. The game gets intriguing when your opposition utilizes the same blocking tactic.
